The BioPradaRia project aims to contribute to enhancing the protection and restoration of aquatic biodiversity and ecosystems within the framework of sustainable fishing activities, specifically for the better management or conservation of marine biological resources, with the Ria de Aveiro as a case study. In the proposed approach, which combines knowledge from actors and stakeholders with scientific knowledge, the 'lessons learned' will be compiled into a roadmap for the restoration, management, and conservation of biodiversity and biological resources associated with the seagrass ecosystems of the Ria de Aveiro.
